One thing is for sure. You can't spread yourself evenly among numerous agenda's because surely in some areas you will not be able to give 100%. Remember these are strictly my thoughts and opinions.
This semester has been a tough one, a meeting with this person; a meeting with that person. Eight hours a day on homework. Complete it all in one day. Be a mother, be a wife. Be an ambassador. Be the best at it all. Talk about 5 long months of stress.
Balance is important in cases like these; To whom much is given much is expected. Unfortunately, if you're a go-getter like me and an aggressive and ambitious worker you feel like you can do it all.
Listen to your body, listen to your mind, and be the best of yourself always.

Attachment or Connection
You are important. Understand that you are responsible for your value. Two things that can add value or devalue you as an individual are: Attachments and Connections. Although they may seem similar I assure you that they are different.
Attachments can be a condition, temporary, and particular. With attachments come the gamble of emotions. There is no control of the other and a lack of control of self.
Example: Sometimes we are attached to the wrong people. We may feel that we can relate to them or we have so much in common, but then feelings set in and we began to beckon at this person's every action or emotion. That is an attachment. Let me say this NOT all attachments are bad. Some things, people and experiences are meant to be temporary.
Connections-are relationships and links. Have you ever heard someone say you're the link? That means that you have the ability to provide and connect that person with what it is they seek. Some connections are good and some are bad. Connections may have emotions involved, but connections also have deeper meanings and can also lead to the deepening of an energy or spiritual connection which goes beyond what we can see. Its something that can not be explained.

Sometimes it's difficult to relate to others. What are you supposed to being doing in life? Where do you fit in the best? These questions are valid and you can only find the answers within. Unfortunately, we attach ourselves to other people, places or things in order to find fulfillment. You are already filled, it is just time to take off the lid and indulge in your purpose. Connecting with your purpose means going beyond just doing what makes you happy, it's being and living your fulfillment.
It's easy to look at other people and believe that there is something that they have that you need, but what comes easy goes easy. My purpose in life is different from yours no matter how similar they may seem. Begin to look at your day to day with interest; interest in understanding what your purpose for the day may be. Your daily purpose may differ from your life's purpose, but all in all it will complement the other.
Those attachments will offer you doubts, but your inward connection with wanting more for yourself will drive the doubt away. Attachments will offer emotions, but your connection with your purpose will offer balance.
Look to be and you will be. Be and you will live. Be great always.

Be a Steward over your Life.
An important part of living is edifying yourself. It's making sure that you are your best self at all times. Sometimes that can be a bit frustrating, but it's your life we are talking about. I like to begin the day with some positive actions. Doing so can help stimulate your mind to prepare to respond in a more positive manner. I've listed a few positive affirmations that I posted on my instagram this week.
"One small step can be the first step in the right direction."~Amber Richardson (@i_Amb_me)
"Hope is the foundation of faith."~ Amber Richardson (@i_Amb_me)
"We are what we allow ourselves to be."~Amber Richardson (@i_Amb_me)
"Have pride in all you do."~Amber Richardson (@i_Amb_me)
"Run your day with a clock and your life with a vision."~Zig Ziglar
"Live your passion daily."~Amber Richardson (@i_Amb_me)
"Be a steward over your life."~Amber Richardson (@i_Amb_me)
Positive affirmations are not mean't to be read once and never revisited. They are meant to be used daily over a lifetime. This is because emotions in us all can occasionally roller coaster. Being a steward over your life means to take control, to manage all things in your life which typically begins with you!
As a steward of self you begin to understand that you don't have any control over the people or situations; the control you have is over self thus you may see both people and situations change. Believing in self is the same thing as saying that you trust you with your life and if you can't do that, then who else do you trust with your life.
Being a steward over your life you have to manage relationships. Some people aren't for you. Some people are, you just have to focus on yourself to see if it's really them or if it's just you. Being a steward over your life you have to manage your finances. THAT is IMPORTANT. The lack of money is the root of all evil. Our finances are a reflection of who we are, it reflects our state of mind as it relates to our lives. No money, no value; more money, more value. No I don't mean billions, I mean if you go and buy a new pair of shoes, do you feel great about that purchase knowing that your bills are paid and all other financial obligations are taken care of? Or a week later while you're wearing the shoes you're counting coins to see if you can possibly get something off the dollar menu to eat because you know you'll get paid soon? If you're the first scenario, you're pretty stewardess, but if you are the second example some reevaluation of self needs to take place.
Lastly, being a steward over your mind CAN and WILL affect both aspects of relationships and finances. We must consider our state of mind, as the cliche goes, "the mind is a powerful thing to waste." It is true. The best practices are to do things that put you in a happy place. Do things that put you in a place of Zen. DAILY, there needs to be "ME TIME." A time and space where you are alone to appreciate yourself and to let self know self's worth and value. You are important!
Remember to always be the best you that you can be because NO ONE can be a better you than you!!
Peace & Love.
