Be a Steward over your Life.

An important part of living is edifying yourself.  It's making sure that you are your best self at all times.  Sometimes that can be a bit frustrating, but it's your life we are talking about. I like to begin the day with some positive actions.  Doing so can help stimulate your mind to prepare to respond in a more positive manner.  I've listed a few positive affirmations that I posted on my instagram this week.

"One small step can be the first step in the right direction."~Amber Richardson (@i_Amb_me)
"Hope is the foundation of faith."~ Amber Richardson (@i_Amb_me)
"We are what we allow ourselves to be."~Amber Richardson (@i_Amb_me)
"Have pride in all you do."~Amber Richardson (@i_Amb_me)
"Run your day with a clock and your life with a vision."~Zig Ziglar
"Live your passion daily."~Amber Richardson (@i_Amb_me)
"Be a steward over your life."~Amber Richardson (@i_Amb_me)

Positive affirmations are not mean't to be read once and never revisited.  They are meant to be used daily over a lifetime.  This is because emotions in us all can occasionally roller coaster.  Being a steward over your life means to take control, to manage all things in your life which typically begins with you!

As a steward of self you begin to understand that you don't have any control over the people or situations; the control you have is over self thus you may see both people and situations change.  Believing in self is the same thing as saying that you trust you with your life and if you can't do that, then who else do you trust with your life.

Being a steward over your life you have to manage relationships.  Some people aren't for you.  Some people are, you just have to focus on yourself to see if it's really them or if it's just you.  Being a steward over your life you have to manage your finances.  THAT is IMPORTANT.  The lack of money is the root of all evil. Our finances are a reflection of who we are, it reflects our state of mind as it relates to our lives.  No money, no value; more money, more value.  No I don't mean billions, I mean if you go and buy a new pair of shoes, do you feel great about that purchase knowing that your bills are paid and all other financial obligations are taken care of? Or a week later while you're wearing the shoes you're counting coins to see if you can possibly get something off the dollar menu to eat because you know you'll get paid soon?  If you're the first scenario, you're pretty stewardess, but if you are the second example some reevaluation of self needs to take place.

Lastly, being a steward over your mind CAN and WILL affect both aspects of relationships and finances.  We must consider our state of mind, as the cliche goes, "the mind is a powerful thing to waste."  It is true. The best practices are to do things that put you in a happy place. Do things that put you in a place of Zen.  DAILY, there needs to be "ME TIME."  A time and space where you are alone to appreciate yourself and to let self know self's worth and value.  You are important!

Remember to always be the best you that you can be because NO ONE can be a better you than you!!

Peace & Love.
